Abstract 

Il Modello Digitale Terreno (DTM) è realizzato secondo lo standard definito nel documento Prescrizioni tecniche per la produzione di Modelli Digitali del Terreno, prodotto dall'apposito gruppo di lavoro nominato dall'Intesa Stato-Regioni-Enti Locali sui Sistemi Informativi Territoriali. Il DTM è conforme al livello 3

Il DTM è integrato geometricamente con tutti gli altri prodotti topografici regionali, in quanto deriva dalle stesse riprese aerofotogrammetriche del 2006 e utilizza per l'orientamento gli stessi modelli.

Statement  Modello Digitale del Terreno conforme al Livello 3 Intesa GIS, è acquisito per via fotogrammetrica, in maniera automatica utilizzando alcuni elementi dell'altimetria quali le curve di livello, i punti quotati e le linee di discontinuità altimetrica. Il DTM così realizzato presenta l'accuratezza in quota pari ad 1 metro tranne che nelle zone con vegetazione fitta (copertura del 70%) o ad alto fusto, in cui l'accuratezza decresce di un ulteriore valore pari ad 1/4 dell'altezza media degli alberi. Il DTM è distribuito in formato ASCII RASTER e si presenta come un grigliato regolare, con passo di griglia di 8 m.
